Say hello to Beatlibrary Member, Adio!
Born in Antigua and making moves from The Bronx to Alhambra, Adio grew up as a citizen of the world. Adio was originally introduced to music through piano lessons, singing in choir, and watching classics like “The Sound of Music”. Later on he was introduced to Hip-Hop in the form of 50 Cent. As a genuine Hip-Hop fanatic, Adio now produces music for several up and coming stars as well as singing many of his own songs.
How would you describe your sound in one sentence?
I would describe my sound as divergent, hypnotic, playful, and reflective.
Your latest track, Invitational, just dropped a couple months ago and had an amazing reception! How did that track come about?
I was constantly hearing the phrase Netflix and Chill and I got tired of how coy it sounded. I wanted energy like, “How about I just come out and say it?”. From there I got really good feedback from a few music collaboration sites on the concept.
What’s your favorite part about being a music artist?
My favorite part is hearing the seed for songs in my head first. I get to hear the song in its purest form. It doesn’t always sound exactly like it did in my head, but I’m getting better at getting it close!
