Chetty is an exciting young artist from Brisbane, Australia. We recently linked up with Chetty to give away 10 free tickets to his upcoming listening party next week for his new EP. Chetty wants to use the power and influence of music to spread positivity and lift the spirits of his listeners!
What does music mean to you?
Music heals. It’s a gift that has a lot of power to influence the world. It’s art and it’s one of the most important tools we use in our everyday lives. Music can direct your emotions, and I am constantly reminded what I feed my soul with the music I listen to or even create.
The EP is titled “GOSPEL”! What impact does your faith have on your music?
I am confident and unashamed with naming my EP “GOSPEL”. I’m a believer and I want the world to know! My goal is not to just stick to Christian Music, but I want to bring light into the whole music industry and reach out to EVERY artist!
What do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?
I want people to feel inspired and liberated. This EP was a big step for me and I went through so many battles in my mind. Thinking things like, “what would people think about this?” or “how would this music be approached by people who don’t believe in what I’m speaking about?” A lot of negative thoughts! But for the people who listen to this, I want them to know they can reach their dreams. YOU CAN DO IT! Sometimes we just need to be uncomfortable and chase after it. I want people to feel confident, pumped up and ready when they listen to my EP!
If you could get ANY artist to remix ANY song on your EP? Who would it be and why?
100% I’d love to see KB remixing Glory. He’ll kill that and I’m confident in that. That would also be my dream collab. I know it’’ll happen in the future. Amen!
