What does music mean to you?
To me, music is like a time machine that can transport you through periods of time with melodies, drums, and/or singing. Music tells story, words have power, so just like in ancient times before the pen and pad we are singing our history. Tales or triumph, failure, experience, oppression, love, and pain are all connected through using songs to paint the experiences of each generation!!
You’re a producer AND an artist. Which one did you start with?
I’ve always had a heart for producing. I started off singing songs into my MP3 player when I was a kid. So when I got older, I learned of Logic Pro, and from then on my journey began! I am a producer first, and Artist second, but will still will do features when asked, or make tracks for myself just to promote! However mainly, I like watching other people shine!
What inspired the Neon Soul pack?
The Neon Soul pack was inspire by me transitioning from mainly making trap and drill beats, into a more soothing and sensual sound. I want to be like Darkchild or Pharrell pioneers that have hits in EVERY genre. So this pack takes me one step closer to achieving that.
What excites you most about being an artist and a producer?
I’m looking forward to making more connections and working with big time producers one day! Since, I have being and artist and producer in my bag, that definitely helps set me apart from others that are trying to advance !! But hey, at then end of the day, there is more than enough money in the industry, so let’s ALL EAT!
